Absent: None. 373 , A quorum present. . The meeting was called to order by Chairman Murray at 7:30 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held October 21, 1952 were read and approved. Councilman Minor. made a motion to approve the payment of the follo~ing bills: (a) From General Fund: Ca~h paid out, $30. garbage hauling $25.61 office exp. S. Z. Fields, gas and oil, street dept. D. A. Walker, gas and oil, street dept. Stills Service Station, gas and oil, street dept. Governmental Guide, subscription Winter Garden Hardware. Co., City Hall Exp. At this time the Clerk read the results of Clerk and Inspectors of the City general election of three Councilmen for the terms of two years, whic-h read as follows: A total of 171 votes cast, D. E. Fields 153 votes, E. A. Murray 152 votes, Edwin H. Pounds 160 votes, Mose Brpan 7 write in votes. Councilman Minor made a motion to accept the Elecxion Board Count, this motion was seconded by COuncilman Freeman, voted and carried. Mayor Salisbury swore in the three high men "as Councilmen for next two years as Follows; B. E. Fields, E. A. Murray and Edwin H. Pounds. Councilman Minor made a motion to Appoint Councilman Murray as Chairman, this motion was seconded by Councilman FieldS, voted upon and carried. Chairman Murray appointed each Councilmen to the same Committee Job as held for the past year. Mayor Salisbury re-appointed Mr. George H. Horton as Policeman. ( 0 ver ) Councilman Minor made a motion to reappoint W. H. Wurst as Clerk, motion was seconded by Councilman FieldS, voted upon and carried. ,. 374 Councilman Fields made a motion that a\ zoning and planning board be appointed by the Council to consist of three men, motion seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Minor made. a motion that the spraying machine paid for by one- half donations and other half by the CitYl to be used only in Starke Lake Deep Lake, and Fish Lake and to be under rull control of the City Council, motion seconded by C'ouncilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to retain Attorney Benjamin T. Shuman as City Attorney, motion seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted &. Carried. Councilman Fields made a motion the Clerk order two Police signs for the Police-car, motion seconded by.CQuncilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Freeman, made a motion. that the Council accept Edwin Pounds offer of $200.00 for the 30x60 lot in SW cor of Lot 18, Block 3 Town of , Ocoee,' motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted upon and carried. - There being no further business, Councilman Pounds made:. a motion that the meeting be ~djourned.
