Absent: Councilman Freeman, A quorum pr~,sent The meeting was called to order by Chairman Murray at 8:00 P.M. and the' minutes of last regular meeting held Decemb~r 16, 1952 were read and, a-pproved. Councilman Minor made a' motion to approve the payment of the following bill s: (a) From General Fund: Cash paid out, $16. Office Expense; $22.50 Street Labor L. T. Berryman, Gas & Oil Street Dept. Stills Service Station, Gas & Oil Bolice Dept. Florida Telephone Corp. Bills to 12-10-52 Florida Power Corp. Power & Lights to 12-9-52 Conrad's Garage, truck repairs, street dept. Morgan's Army Store, blankets for jail W. H. Wurst Agency, City Hall Insurance Benjamin T. Shuman, December retainer Colonial Corners, flowers, E.B.Brown Burgess' Pres5~, 500 large 50Q, small envelopes O.A.S.I.Contrubution Fund, quarter endimg 12-31-52 Hughe s Supplj, Inc., street d ept. Clerk read the amended contract with the Florida power Corp. for five (5) additional street lights, making a total of twenty-five (25), this contra~t bei~g accepted by the signing by the Mayor, Chairman and attested by the Clerk. There being no further business, Councilman Minor made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
