The meeting was ~alled to order by Chairman Murray at 8:15 P.M. and the
minutes off l~&t regular meeting held, January 6, 1953 ~re read an~
approvecf.
Councilman Fields made a. motion' to approve! the payment of the following
bills:

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from funds above mentioned l'1C1lS seconded
by Councilman JlUl'1'or, v:arted and carried.
Councilman Minor made a motion to send the Mayor to Jacksonville for the
meeting of the Florid~ League of Municipalities, this motion was seconde~
by Councilman Fields, voted and carried.
Councilman Pounds' made a motion to send the Fire Ass'ociation $10.00
for membership dues, motion was' se~nded by COuneilman Fields, vote~ an~
carried'.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to raise the Clerk's salary $25.00 per
month for extra office help or until such time that inrrreaseo wor.k to
warrant a further raise, and to be rectroactive to January 1st 1953, this
motion was sec-onded by C'ouncilman Minor, voted and carried.
There being no further business, Councilman fields made a motion that the
meeting be adjourned). This motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, votedl
and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 10:25 P.M.
