Absent: Councilman Freeman A quorum present - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Maguire at 8:00 P.M. and the minutes of thffi last regular meeting held June 2, 1953 were read , and approved. . Councilman Minor made a motion, to have Freeman to have street straightened outtin'fron of C. E. Deans, being Franklin street from railroad to Otis street, this morion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted ,and carried. Councilman Pounds made a motion to accept resolution~ as read, a~nd instruct C'lerk to forward a copy of the advertisement to the Bond Buyer in New York and one to the Evening reporter star im Orlando, being a notice to Bond- holders to receive bids July 7th 1953. this motioro was seeonded by Council- man Minor, voted and carried. ' Councilman Iv1inor made a motion to authorize the '}\layor to order the additionCl stop signs as needed, motion was seconded by Coun~ilman Pounds, voted and carried. There bei~g no further business, Councilman Minor made ~ motion that the- meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, ~oted and carriea.
