Absent: Mayor salisbury A quorum present. The me~ting was called to order by Chairman Maguire at 8:00 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting heilid Tuesday, February 2:, 1954 were read and approved. Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of the following b;ill s: (a) From General Fund: Cash paid out, street dept. Wood's CabQhet Shop, materials, City Hall repairs Richard Bodiford, street labor to 2-20-54 C. R. Freeman, 34 hrs' @ .85t Richard Bodiford, street labor to 2-27-54 ':1. H. Wurst, Clerk to 3-1-54 A. V. Perritte, Police to 3-1-54 Sam T. salisbury, Mayors fee, 4 cases 15.00 17.85 40.42 28.90 40.42 61.25 98.00. 12.00 (b) From Cigarette Tax Fund: Finley Municipal Supply Co. Water dept. J. J. Bo~gan, Water dept. (c) From Emergency Fund: Knight and Wall Co., Water dept. Badger Meter Mfg Co~, Water Dept. Winter Garden Hdwe Co. Water dept. state Bank of Apopka, Water dept. 16.50 192.0} 402.30 73.08 17.46 115.00 A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted upon and carried. Councilman Fiilds made a motion that the ITlerk put an add in the paper for bids on a standard fordor sedan automobile for police department, this motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted and carried. Councilman FieldS' made a' motion that the fire' chief and' the assistant fire chief and fireman to make calls on all excluded property owners and to includ'e all the fringe area, to collect $5.00 for one year fire protection or $10.00 for three years. And to make a list of all those ~ho do not pay and not answer the fire calls from such pe rsons. The members of the department to get $1.00 per hour for contacting those' property owners. Otherwise if a call is made to property not paid in advance, the driver of the truck to pay the fireman plus $10.00 for use of the fire truck. Thos motion was secmnded by Councilman Freeman, voted upon and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to Dotify Mr. Green to proceed with the' auditing the City books for a minimum of four years back. This motion was sec'onded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion that the meeting be adjourned, This motion was seconded by Councilman Minor voted and carried.
