Absent: Councilman Minor & Mayor Salisbury A quorum present The meeting was called to order by Vice-Ohairman Fields at 8:50 P~M. an~ the mintes of the last regular meeting held May 5, 1954 were read and approved. Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills (a) From General Fund: Cash paid out, street dept. George Stuart, Inc. Wilson & Toomer Fertilizer Co. Bray Hardware Co. Harold D. Maguire, fees W. H. Wurst, fees Sam Oliver, water dept. Richard Bodiford, street dept. Anthony Sholes, street dept. E. L. Phillips, street dept. Richard Bodiford, street dept. There being no further business, Councilman Freeman made a motion that the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Oouncilman Pounds voted and carried.
