MINUTES: OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF T HE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CI TY OE OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD<
TUESDAY, JUNE ~5., 1954
Present: COuncilmen Fields, Freeman, Maguire~ and Pounds.
kbsent: Councilman Minor & Mayor Salisbury,
A quorum present.
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Fields at 8:00 PM
and the minutes: of the last regul,ar meeting held' JUne '1,," 1954 were read
and atpproved.
Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of the following

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above me ntioned funds was
seconded by C unc:ilman Pounds, voted and carried.

Taoc Roll Committee met for revaluatiffg property for the 1954 ta~ roll
on June'5th, 10th and 15th, and found that several pieces of vacant
property should be raised, as well as all improved lands.
Councilman Freeman, made a motion to raise Police King's salary $20.00
per month and to lower Police perritte salary $20.00 per month to Sept
1st, 1954, this motion was seconded by Councilman Maguire, voted and carril
Councilman Pounds made a motio1111 to adopt Ordinances number #(f; and f3;~ (
motion was seconded by Councilman Maguire, voted and carried.
There being no further business, COuncilman Maguire made a motion that
the meeting be adjourned. This motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman
voted and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
