MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
OOUNCIL OF THE OITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY. SEPTEMBER 21. 195~

Present: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Maguire, Minor and Pounds
Absent: Mayor Salisbury
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairma~.Maguire at 8:00 P.M. and
the minutes of the last regular meeting held September 7, 195~ and
special meeting held September 8, 195~ were read and approved
Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of all bills
as far as the money goes.
(a) From General Fund:
Cash paid out - $22.50 street dept. $2.00 postage
Sam Oliver, water dept. to 9-a5-5~

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was
seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried.
Clerk repost the traBsfer or $750.00 from the Meter Fubdto the:
General Fund as a temporary loan until- such time it can be paid ba.ck
to the Meter fund, permission to do this was granted by several
members of the Council.
Mr. Kennedy and LeRoy Turner was pr8ee~ to ~ly for Police job mad~
vacant by B. H. King. no definite action was taken.
Councilman Maguire, Fields and Pounds agreed to adt asa committe to
work on the necessary qualifications for employing a policeman. p, .

The Council gave Councilman Freeman', authori ty to put a "'8 "ge in front'.
of his yard, and he agreed to take it down when become necessary.
crounctlman Fields made a motion to raise' Mr. Perritte's salary back
to $200.00 per month and to allow frem water to Sam Oliver, this
motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted and carried.
There being no ~urther buaine8~, Councilman Pounds made a motion
that the meeting be adjourned, This motion was seconded by Councilman
Freeman voted and carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 10:30~
P.M.
