Absent: Councilman Freeman A Quorum present The meeting was called to order by Chairman Maguire at 1:30 P.M. Councilman Fields made a motion to a~cept Ordinance No. 151, being an Ordinanc~ ascertaining the amount necBssary to operate the City of Ocoee, Florida, for the Tcmc year beginning November 1, 1954 and'- endirDg October 31, 1955. This motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted and c:arried. Counc:ilman Fields made a motion to accept Ordinance Nol 15~, being an Ordinance fixing the rate of taxation for the City of Ocoee, Florida, for the ta:x year beginning November 1, 1954 and ending October 31" 1955, this motion was seC'Onded by Councilman Minor" voted and car~ied. Councilman Fields made a motion to accept Ordinance No. 153, being an Ordinance levying a tax upon all taxable property within the City of Ocoee, Florida, for the tax~ear beginning November 1, 1954 and ending October 31, 1955, This motion was seconded by Councilman Minor, voted and carried. G'ounci Iman Fields made a motion to accept Ordinance No. 154, being and Ordinance appropriating and allocating all revenue of the City of Ocoee Florida, for the tax year beginning November 1, 1954, and ending October 31, 1955, This motion was seconded by C'oune:ilman :r.Unor, voted and caJrried Councilman Pounds made a motion to sell the Royal Electric Type\'lriter to Spencer C. Cross for $280.00 it not being suitable for City Business, This motion was sec:onded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. Councilman l-linor made a motion! to adopt Lease: to the Lions Club for the second floor of the Ocoee' Fire Station, and that the drawing of the Lease be paid by the Lions C'~ub. This motion was seconded by Co1.mcilmmn Pounds, voted and carried. Ire written sesolutiov of the lease to be in<:orporated into these minutes. Councilman Minor made a motion to rent the office space to Spencer C. Cross that is now bein8 occupied by him for $10.00 per month for a period of two years. this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman r-linor made a, motion to recess this meeting until further notice, This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried1, Thereupon, the Counc:il re<:essed at 2:30 P.M.
