JANUARY 18. 1955 " (i.5 Present: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holmes, Minor and Pounds Absent: None a quorum present The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 8:00 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held January 4, 1955 and recessed meeting January 7, 1955 were read and approved. Couneilman Fields made a motion' to approve the payment of the following bills: (a) From General Fund: Cash paid out, $11.25 Street;Office $14.92 Police $2.05 Ocoee Service Station, City hall expo Jowers Service Station, Police dept. Bray Hardware Co. water dept. State Bank of Apopka, deposit box rent Henry's Service Station, $49. Police dept.$15.26 , dept. $39.85, water dept. Motor Vehicle Commission, 1955 X tag,1953 Cbev.Tk Sam Oliver, water dept. Anthony Sholes, street dept. O. G. Smith, street dept. Ocoee Lions Club, by C. R. Freeman Sta.te Bank of Apopka, street dept. Sam Oliver, water dept. Anthony Sholes, street dept O. G. Smith, Street dept. Tommie C. Sanders, Police to 2-1-65 A. V. Perritte, Police to 2-1-55 W. H. Councilman Pounds made a motion to accept the audit report ending October 31, 1954 prepared by Derby and Greene, this motion was seconded by Councilman Holmes, voted and carried. Councilman Pounds made a motion to retain Derby and Greene for the 1954 and 1955 additing the City Books at a maximum of $aOO.OO this motiow was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. Councilman Freeman made a motiomraise the Clerk's salary $5.00 per month for the next five (5) months, beginning with January 1, 195fr this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, vdted and carried. The Council passed on having street lights installed at Mrs. Carlisles house, H. C. Parker, Wellmans corner, Baptist Church and Mrs. Ingold. Oouncilman Freeman made a motion to pay over to the Lions Club the $18.00 being 10% of the amount he collected for 'ire protections on property excluded and the fiinge areas, ad be specified for the L~ons Club building Fund, this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds voted and carried. ' (over) {)'6\ There being no further business, Oouncilman Holmes made a motion to adjourn, this motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
