MINMTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY

Absent: Councilman Freeman
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 8:30 P.M. and the
minutes of the last regular meeting held March 1, 1955 were read and
approved.
80uncilman Fields made a motiom to approve the payment of the following
bills:
(a) From General Fund:
A. V. Perritte, Police two weeks vacation
John T. Minor, Mayor Pro tern fees 9 cases
W. H. Wurst, Clerk fees 9 cases
J. A. Tchornton, refund on 1955 licese
S. Z. Fields, $33.71 street dept. $9.65 water dept.

Moore's Foundry, 2 grate castings, street dept.
Ocoee Service Station, street dept.
Burgess Press, 10 Mayor's Docut,
Bennie King, Meals to prisoners

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was seconded
by Councilman Holmes, voted and carried.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to refund one-half year license paid
by J. A. Thornton, motion seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to buy a transit level, this motion was
seconded by Councilman Holmes, voted and carried.
There being no further business, Counrr.ilman Holmes made a motion that the
meeting be recessed until further notice. This motion was seconded by
Councilman F~elds, voted and carried, Thereupon, the Council recessed
at 10: 55 P.M.
