APR[1 19. 1955 Present: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holmes, Minor and Pounds Absent:None'i A quorum present The meeting was called to order by Chairman Minor at 8:15 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held April 5, 1955 were read and approved. Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of the following bills: {al From General Fund Sam Oliver, water dept. to 4-16-55 Anthony Sholes, street dept. to 4-16-55 o. G. Councilman Fields made a motion for Councilman Pounds to contact the Winter Garden Council about the police radio connections, this motion was seconded by Councilman Holmes, voted and carried. Councilman Freeman made a motion to charge $10.00 per year per lot for keeping lots cleaned and mowed. this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to find the owners of the two lots in Lakeview subdivision next to the dumping grounds and offer to purchase if price is reasonable, this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds voted and carried. Councilman Freeman made a motion to write Mr. Cloude to move trees from N. Bluford Ave and on Ohio Street, and put in another street light at intersection of Lake Street and Lakewood Ave. this motion was seconded by Councilman Fields, voted and carried. over 90 Councilman Fields made a motion to pay Spencer C. Cross $450.00 to apply on attorneys fees,this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.; , Councilman Holmes made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 275 being an Ordinance declaring the intentions of the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex a certain tract of unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in orange County, Florida to-wit: Beggining at the SE corner of Lot 2 Block 2 of the Town of Ocoee, thence North 81 feet, thence West 10~ feet, thence South 81 feet, thence East 100 feet to the place of beginn~ng. this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Holmes made a motion to adopt ordinance No. 276, being an I Orldinance declaring the intentions of the City of Ocoee, Florida to, annex a certain tract of unincorporated land lying contiguous to the Municipal Boundaries of the Gaty of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida,' to-wit: Beginning at the NE corner .of Lot 2 Block 2 of the Town ofOcoee, thence West 150 feet, thence South 60 feet, thence East 150 feet, thence North 60 feet to the place of beinning,. this motion was sec~nded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Holmes made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 277, being an Ordinance declaring the intentions of 'the City of Ocoee,Florida, to annex a 'certain tract of unincorporated land lying cont~guous to the municipal boundaries of the City of "Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida' to-wit: si of the SW~ of the NE~ of Section 18, Twp. 22, s. R. i~ East. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carrted. ' Councilman Holmes made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 278 being an Ordinance declaring the intentions of the 'City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex a 'certain tract of uninconporated land lying cont~guous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Floridal to-wit: All that fart of the SW~ of the SW~ and the West 522 feet 01" the NE~ of the SW~ of section IS, Twp. 22, S. R. 28 East, Lying North of the brick road. This motion was seconded by Counc ilman Pounds, voted and carried. , I Councilman Holmes made a motion to adopt Ordinance No.279 being ah Ordinance Declaring the intentions of the City of Ocoee, florida, to annex a certain tract of uninc'orpora ted land lying contiguous to tee municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Ora~e C unty 'to-wit: s~ of the NW~ of the SW~ of the NW~ of Section 18, T~p. 2~," S. R. 28 East. This motion'was seconded by Councilman Pounds, "voted and carried. There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion that the meeting be recessed until Apri~ 26th at 7:30 1955. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
