AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA
TO EXTEND THE TERRITORIAL AND MUNICIPAL LIMITS
TO ANNEX, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE 171. 044
THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED LAND SITUATED AND
BEING IN ORANGE COUN'l'Y, FLORIDA AND PETITIONED
BY ALEX C. :mnrr, OWNER AND AGENT FOR ROBERT A.
STIVESON, AND ROBERT:h.. AND PATRICIA L. JOHNSON;
PROVIDING FOR AND AUTHORIZING THE UPDATING OF
OFFICIAL CITY MAPS; PROVIDING FOR DIRECTION OF
THE CITY CLERK; CONFLICTS; EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, ALEX C. HUNT, OWNER AND AGENT FOR ROBERT A. STIVESON, AND
ROBERT L. AND PATRICIA L. JOHNSON, has petitioned the City Commission of the
City of Ocoee, Florida to annex property located West of Maguire Road approx-
imately 1,000 feet North of Roberson Road in Orange County, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171.044 of the General Laws of Florida provides
that a municipal corporation may annex property into its corporate limits,
upon voluntary petition of the owners and by passing and adopting a non-emer-
gency ordinance to annex said property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida is desirous
of annexing and redefining the boundaries of the municipality to include the
subject property pursuant to Florida Statute 171.044.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OCOEE, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the following described property, being situated and
in Orange County, Florida totaling approximately 17.5 acres be and the same
is hereby annexed into the City of Ocoee, Florida pursuant to the voluntary
annexation provisions of Chapter 171.044, Florida Statutes and other appli-
cable laws.

E 350 f"eet thereof" within Section 31, Township 22 South, Range
28 East, Orange County, Florida.
JOHNSON TRACT (TAX PARCEL #13)
The N 167.6 f"eet of" the N\ of" the SE% of" the NE% less the E 40
f"eet of" right-of"-way f"or Maguire Road, all within Section 31,
Township 22 South, Range 28 East, Orange County, Florida.
STIVESON TRACT (TAX PARCEL #28)

The ~ of" the ~ of" the NE% of" the NE% less the N 150 f"eet of"
the E 300 f"eet of" the ~ of" the ~ of" the NE% of" the NE%; LESS:
f'rom the NE corner of" Section 31, run South 670.03 f"eet, West 40
f"eet, South 150 f"eet f"or a point of" beginning; then West 260 f"eet,
N 142 f"eet, West to the Northwest corner of" the ~ of" the NE% of"
the NE%~ South 15 f"eet, East 1005 f"eet, South 142 f"eet, East 275
f"eet and North 15 f"eet to point of" beginning; all within Section 31
Township 22 South, Range 28 East, Orange County, Florida.
Section 2. That the corporate territorial limits of the City of Ocoee,
Florida are hereby redefined to include said land herein described and an-
nexed.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to update and sup-
plement official City maps of the City of Ocoee, Florida to include said
land herein described and annexed.
Section 4. That the land herein described and future inhabitants of the
land herein described shall be liable for all debts and obligations and be
subject to all species of taxation, laws, ordinances, and regulations of the
City of Ocoee, Florida and be entitled to the same privileges and benefits
as other areas of the City.

Section 5. That if any section or portion of a section or subsection of
this ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any
other section or subsection or part of this ordinance.
Section 6. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here~~
with are hereby repealed.
Section 7. That this ordinance shall take effect upon passage and adop-
tion, thereafter the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy
of the ordinance with the Secretary of State of the State of Florida and the
appropriate agencies in and for Orange County, Florida.
