AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA
TO EXTEND THE TERRITORIAL AND MUNICIPAL
LIMITS TO ANNEX, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTE
171.044 THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED LAND SITUATED
AND BEING IN ORANGE COUNTY. FLORIDA AND PETITIONED
BY JOHN M. SEITZ, AGENT FOR GROVER H. VOSS, FAYE
S. CRISS AND REBA T. & W. PITT VARNES; PROVIDING
FOR AND AUTHORIZING THE UPDATING OF OFFICIAL
CITY MAPS; PROVIDING FOR DIRECTION OF THE CITY
CLERK; CONFLICTS; EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, JOHN M. SEITZ, AGENT FOR OWNER GROVER H. VOSS, FAYE S. CRISS
AND REBA T. & W. PITT VARNES; has petitioned the City Commission of the City
of Ocoee, Florida to annex the property located east of Ridgefield Avenue,
Southwest of Spring Lake, in Orange County, Florida; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171.044 of the General Laws of Florida provides
that a municipal corporation may annex property into its corporate limits,
upon voluntary petition of the owners and by passing and adopting a non-
emergency ordinance to annex said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida is desirous
of annexing and redefining the boundaries of the municipality to include
the subject property pursuant to Florida Statute 171.044.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OCOEE, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described property, being situated and in
Orange County, Florida totalling approximately 23.62 acres be and the same
is hereby annexed into the City of Ocoee, Florida, pursuant to the voluntary
annexation provisions of Chapter 171.044, Florida Statutes and other ap-
plicable laws.
VOSS TRACT(TAX PARCEL #2)
From the N.W. corner of Section 16, Township 22
South, Range 28 East, Orange County, Florida run
E. 683. 4 feet, thence S. 0008' E. 443.79 feet for
a Point of Beginning; run thence N. 89027' E. 236
feet; thence S. 45040' E. 269.65 feet, thence N.
30047'40" E. 495.99 feet, thence S. 0002' E. 1135.49
feet, thence S. 89053' W. 680.79 feet, thence N.
0008' W. 354.03 feet, thence S.89027' W. 17 feet,
thence N. 0048' W. 543.25 feet, thence N. 89027' E.
23.17 feet to the Point of Beginning.

Commence at the N.W. corner of Section 16, Township 22
South, Range 28 East, Orange County, Florida, thence
run E. along the N. line of said Section 16 for 1366.80
feet; thence run S. 0002'00" E. for 203.95 feet to the
Point of Beginning; thence run S. 83049'59" W. for
710.15 feet to a point on the E. line of Lot 64
"Brentwood Heights Unit Four" as recorded in Plat Book
3, page 94 of the Public Records of Orange County,
Florida, said point being 15.00 feet S. 0008'00" E. of
the N.E. corner of said Lot 64; thence run S. 0008'00" E.
along the E. line of said "Brentwood Heights Unit Four"
for 163.55 feet; thence run N. 89027'00" E. for 259.17
feet; thence run S. 45038'41" E. for 269.65 feet; thence
run N. 30046'04" E. for 495.90 feet to the Point of
Beginning.

Commence at the N.W. corner of Section 16, Township 22
South, Range 28 East, Orange County, Florida; thence run
E. along the N. line of said Section 16 for 1366.80 feet
to the Point of Beginning; thence run S. 0002'00" E. for
203.95 feet; thence run S. 83049'59" W. for 710.15 feet
to a point on the E. line of Lot 64 "Brentwood Heights
Unit Four" as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 94 of the
Public Records of Orange County, Florida, said point
being 15.00 feet S. 0008'00" E. of the N.E. corner of
said Lot 64; thence run N. 0008'00" W. along the E.
line of said "Brentwood Heights Unit Four" for 280.74
feet more or less to the N. line of said Section 16;
thence run E. along the N. line of said Section 16 for
683.4 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning.
Section 2: That the corporate territorial limits of the City of Ocoee,
Florida are hereby redefined to include said land herein described and
annexed.
Section 3: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to update and sup-
plement official City maps of the City of Ocoee, Florida to include said
land herein described and annexed.
Section 4: That the land herein described and future inhabitants of
the land herein described shall be liable for all debts and obligations and
be subject to all species of taxation, laws, ordinances, and regulations
of the City of Ocoee, Florida and be entitled to the same privileges and
benefits as other areas of the City.
Section 5: That if any section or portion of a section or subsection of
this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall
not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any
other section or subsection or part of this ordinance.
Section 6: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewd.th are hereby repealed.
Section 7: That this Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and
adoption, thereafter the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of the ordinance with the Secretary of State of the State of Florida
and the appropriate agencies in and for Orange County, Florida.
