HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 869 ORDINANCE NO. 869 FIRST READING: 2-18-86 SECOND READING: 3-18-86 THIRD READING: 4-1-86 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF A CERTAIN AREA WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ZONED; PROVIDING FOR AND AUTHORIZING THE UPDATING OF OFFICIAL CITY MAPS; AND PRO- VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. e WHEREAS, First Baptist Church of Ocoee, Inc., Bruce Thompson, Corporation President, has petitioned the City of Ocoee Board of Commissioners for a zon- ing change; and, WHEREAS, the City of Ocoee Board of Commissioners has annexed this prop- erty; and, WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Board has reviewed the petition and recom- mended approval of same; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing as provided in Section 5-1, Chapter 2, Appendix A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ocoee, Florida was held and the question is said that the rezoning of the real property described below after due public notice; and, WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida made an in- dependent examination and determined that the zoning classification of the parcel of real property as set forth below is in the best interest of the City; and, WHEREAS, the rezoning is consistent with Ocoee's Comprehensive Plan. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY CmtMISSION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: Pursuant to authority of the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, under Section 3, Chapter II, the following described parcel of real property shall henceforth bear the zoning classification as indicated below, as defined by Section 5, Chapter IV, Appendix A, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Ocoee, Florida: TO BE REZONED: R-2: Lots 69 and 70, Block 3, of the TOWN OF OCOEE, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book "A", page 100, Public Records of Orange County, Florida; ALSO: Lots 71,72, and 73, Block 3 of the TOWN OF OCOEE, said lots appearing on that certain map of Ocoee covering Sections 17, 18, 19 and 20, Town- ship 22 South, Range 28 East, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book "A", page 100, Public Records of Orange County, Florida. SECTION 2: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to update and supplement the official City maps of the City of Ocoee, Florida to in- clude the said land herein described. e SECTION 3: That if any section or portion of section or subsection of the Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity force or effect of any other sec- tion or portion of a section or subsection of this Ordinance. SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here- with are hereby repealed. SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and adoption, thereafter the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the Department of State of the State of Florida. A'ITErc~ THIScf~ DAY OF , 1986 ~_~ OEE, r~ City Clerk Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 868 First Reading 2-18-86 Second Reading 3-18-86 AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 710 (APPENDIX A OF THE CITY CHARTER) OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, BY INCREASING THE PARKING SPACES OF A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING; RATIFYING THE ORDINANCE TO THE EXTENT NOT SO .AMENDED; PROVIDING FOR SEV- ERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. . BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA: Section 1. Chapter III, Section 9.7 of Ordinance #710 of the City of Ocoee, Florida, is hereby amended to read as follows: Establishment and composition of off-street parking spaces shall be provided according to the following: Dwelling multiple-family: The number of spaces pro- vided shall not be less than 2.25 times the number of dwelling units. Section 2. Ordinance #710 of the City of Ocoee, is hereby ratified in all other sections and subsections not changed in this Ordinance. Section 3. That if any section or portion of a section or subsection of the Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or portion of a section or subsection of this Ordinance.
