AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, ORANGE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO ABANDON ROAD RIGHT-OF-
WAY OF A PORTION OF THAT RIGHT-OF-WAY KNOWN
AS CHICAGO AVENUE; TO RETAIN A UTILITIES
EASEMENT THROUGH THIS PROPERTY; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ADOPTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA:

WHEREAS, Mr. Alton Julian owner of property on both sides of
Chicago Avenue road right-of-way is in the process of developing a
subdivision in that area; and
WHEREAS, the Ocoee City Board of Commissioners and Mr. Alton Julian
have mutually agreed to cul-de-sac the Northern end of Chicago Avenue to
prevent a possible bad intersection from generating hazards.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the below described road right-of-way shall be
abandoned by the City of Ocoee, Florida, and shall revert to the owner-
ship of Mr. Alton Julian to do with as he sees fit in conjunction with
his construciton of Harbour Highlands II Subdivision.
Using the West mid-point of the Northeast 1/4
of Section 22, Township 22S, Range 28E as a
point of beginning run 30 feet East then 60
feet South, then 60 feet West, 60 feet North
and 30 feet East to the Point of Beginning.
This is the northern 60 feet of road right-of-
way otherwise known as Chicago Avenue hereby
abandoned.
SECTION 2: The City of Ocoee shall retain a twenty four(24) foot
utility easement in that area previously known as Chicago Avenue road
right-of-way. Said easement shall be measured from the western most
edge of the previously platted right-of-way, to a point twenty four(24)
feet to the East.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
adoption by the Ocoee City Board of Commissioners.
