AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA
TO EXTEND ITS TERRITORIAL AND MUNICIPAL
LIMITS TO ANNEX, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATE
STATUTE 171.044 THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
LANDS SITUATED AND BEING OWNED BY TED BOLIN,
OWNER AND AGENT FOR TOM OLIVE PROVIDING FOR
AND AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL CITY
ZONING LAND USE MAPS AND COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE
PLAN; PROVIDING DIRECTIONS TO THE CITY CLERK;
CONFLICTS; AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Ted Bolin, owner and agent for T. Olive, has petitioned
the City commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida to annex the following
listed property located at the Northeast City Boundary on A.D. Mims Road,
approximately one third mile from Apopka Vineland Road, Orange County,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171.044 of the General Laws of Florida
provides that a municipal corporation may annex property into its corporate
limits upon voluntary petition of ~he owners, by passing and adopting a
non-emergency ordinance to annex said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Flo~ida is
desirous of annexing and redefining the boundaries of the municipality to
include the subject property pursuant to Florida State Statute 171.044;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the City
of Ocoee, Florida as follows:
SECTION I: That the following described property, being situated
in Orange County, Florida, totalling approximately l4(fourteen) acres, be
and the same is hereby annexed into the City of Ocoee, Florida, pursuant to
the voluntary annexation provisions of Chapter 171.044, Florida Statutes,
and other applicable laws.
SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 22, SOUTH, RANGE 28 EAST
PARCEL 76: East 1/4 of Southeast 1/4 of Northwest 1/4
(less South 30 feet for road).

PARCEL 102: Begin Southeast corner of the Northeast 1/4 of the
Northwest 1/4, run North 349.72 feet, West 503.15
feet to Ely right-of-way of Seaboard Coastline
Railroad, Southwesterly along said right-of-way to
South line of the Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest
1/4, East to Point of Beginning (less beginning 28
feet North of the Southeast corner of the Northeast
1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, run North to a point
442.28 feet South of the North boundary the North
1/2 of the South 1/3 of the North 3/5 of the West
1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, of the Northeast 1/4 of
Section, run West 100(one hundred) feet South to a
point 30.8 feet North of the South Boundary of the
Northeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4, East to Point
of Beginning) and beginning Southwest corner of the
South 1/5 of the West 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of
the Northeast 1/4 of Section, run East 297.76 feet
North 22 feet, West 297.74 feet, South 28 feet to
Point of Beginning, all being in Section 10, Town-
ship 22 South, Range 28 East, Orange County, FL.

SECTION II: That the corporate territorial limits of the City
of Ocoee, Florida, are hereby redefined to include said land herein described
and annexed.

SECTION III: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to amend,
alter, and supplement the official City zoning and land use maps and compre-
hensive land use plans of the City of Ocoee, Florida to include said land
herein described and annexed.

SECTION IV: That the land herein described and future inhabi-
tants of the land herein described shall be liable for all debts and obli-
gations and be subject to all species of taxation, laws, ordinances and
regulations of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and be entitled to the same
privileges and benefits as other areas of the City.

SECTION V: That if any section or portion of a section or sub-
section of the Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional,
it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force or effect
of any other section or subsection of this Ordinance.
SECTION VI: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION VII: That this Ordinance shall take effect upon passage
and adoption, thereafter the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certi-
fied copy of this Ordinance with the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for
Orange County, Florida, and to file a certified copy with the Department of
State of the State of Florida.
