HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 819 ORDINANCE NUMBER 21S First Reading 2-5-85 Second Reading 3-5-85 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER 710 OF THE CITY OF OCOEE; REQUIRING THE PAVING OF AUTO SALES PARKING LOTS: PROVIDING FOR SUPERCESSION: PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA. e section 1: All new and used automobile sales and/or service establishments, as well as all new and/or used machinery sales and/or service establishments must provide sufficient paved park- ing surface to park each of the vehicles that is for sale there- on. This is over and above, in addition to the off-street park- this businessman must pro~ae for his customers. Both the parking for the vehicles for sale, as well as the parking for the custom- ers shall be in compliance with Section 9, Chapter III, Appendix A of the Ocoee Charter; otherwise known as the zoning Ordinance, Ordinance Number 710. Additionally, these retail merchants are reminded of the requirement for the screening of said equipment via "permanent ornamental walls, fences, or planting that it cannot be seen from adjoining streets or lots when viewed by a person standing on ground level; ... no screening in excess of six (6) feet tall...". The above amendments and reiteration are for Sec- tion 9, Chapter IV, Appendix A, of the Ocoee City Charter. Section 2: This Ordinance shall supercede an9 ana all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances previously passed/adopted that are in conflict with this Ordinance. Section 3: If any portion of this Ordinance is determined to be void or otherwise Unconstitutional, the remainder of this Ordinance shall retain its effect. section 4: This Ordinance shall become effective immediate- ly upon adoption by the City Board of Commissioners. ~ ENACTED THIS 5" DAY OF YJllUl-~ , 1985.
