AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, ORANGE
COUNTY, FLORIDA DISCLAIMING ANY AND ALL
INTEREST TO THE PORTION OF LAND DESIGNATED
AS CUMBERLAND AVENUE LYING NORTH OF THE
ATLANTIC COASTLINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY
AND SOUTH OF COLUMBUS STREET IN THE PLAT
OF THE TOWN OF OCOEE AS SHOWN IN PLAT BOOK "A"
PAGES 100-101, PUBLIC RECORDS OF ORANGE COUNTY,
FLORIDA: PROVIDING FOP. AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of January, 1886 Plat of the Town
of Ocoee was recorded in Plat Book "A", pages 100-101, Public
Records of Orange County, Florida; and,
WHEREAS, in said Plat certain area was designated as
Cumberland Avenue; and,
WHEREAS, that area so designated Cumberland Avenue lying
North of the right-of-way of the Seaboard Coastal Railroad
CAtlantic Coastline Railroad) and South of Columbus Street was
not utilized by the City of Ocoee and the City of Ocoee does not
intend to utilize same in the foreseeable future; and,
WHEREAS, in regular session the City Commission of the City
of Ocoee on May 25, 1965 passed a resolution so stating all
included herein but said resolution was never properly recorded
with Orange County.
NOvJ, THEREFORE,
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the portion of land designated as Cumber-
land Avenue in Plat Book "A", pages 100-101 Public Records of
Orange County, Florida lying North of the Seaboard Coastal
RailroadCAtlantic Coastline Railroad) right-of-way and South
of Columbus Street is hereby vacated by the City of Ocoee,
Florida. The City hereby disclaims any and all interest in
that said property.
