AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE,
ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA TO AMEND
ORDINANCE NUMBER 710 - ZONING OR-
DINANCE: CHAPTER 4, SECTION 11.2,
SUBPARAGRAPH 5; PROVIDING FOR AN-
NUAL RENEWAL OF THE PEm~IT; PRO-
VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
SECTION I: THE (quote) "SLEEPING FACILITY REQUIRED BY CARE-
TAKERS OR NIGHT WATCHMEN EMPLOYED ON THE PREMISES"
(unquote), referred to Chapter 4, Section 11.2,
Subparagraph 5, of Zoning Ordinance number 710,
shall be interpreted to allow trailers to be park-
ed in industrial areas, i.e., areas zoned I-lor
1-2, for the purpose of guarding and securing the
premises. These trailers shall be permitted . by
direct action by the City Board of Commissioners
only; i.e. no other Board, Board of Adjustment
or Planning and Zoning Board shall be allowed
to take such action. Said approving action by
the City Board of Commissioners shall be of only
one year at a time and shall not be automatically
renewed but the petitioner must come before the
City Board of Commissioners, each year and request
that their trailer be allowed to remain on the
premises for another year.
SECTION II: Approvals for this special placement of security
trailers will be granted from Dec. 15 of current year to
December 14 of the next year. All holders of of the
special permits must petition the Commission to
extend their permit for the next year prior to
the first Tuesday in December.
Permits will be issued by the Building Department,
upon direction from the City Commission through
the City Manager.
Those permits issued after December, will only be
for a partial year, and therefore the holder there-
of must still petition the Commission for renewal
prior to the first Tuesday of the next December.

SECTION III: If any portion of this ordinance be declared uncon-
stitutional or otherwise void the remainder of the
ordinance shall remain in effect.
SECTION IV: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
