AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE HUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA: MAKING FINDINGS
OF FACT: DESCRIBING TllE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED:
INCORPORATING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY: M~D PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Waxman, the owner of the following described
parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee,
Florida, to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City;
and,
WHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed their Petitions and Consents with
the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter
of the City of Ocoee, and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the
City Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of
said parcel of real property no less than ten days and not more than 60 days
from the date of the filing of such Petition with the City Clerk; and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an
independent examination of the said property and deternlined, and does hereby
find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is
in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed
to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby
find and determine that said property is an unincoporated ar~of Orange
County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the following described parcels of real property owned by
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Waxman, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same
hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the
City of Ocoee, Florida:
From 330.50 feet East and 442.40 feet South of the Northwest corner of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 17, Township 22 South, Range
28 East; thence run 561044'00" E, a distance of 225.00 feet; thence 5480
OO'OO"E, a distance of 60.00 Feet for a Point of Beginning, thence 531054'
OO"W, a distance of 183.20 feet to the Northerly right-of-way line of Silver
Star Road; thence 549002'55" E. along said Northerly right-of-way line, a
distance of 190.98 feet; thence Nl004l'26"E, a distance of 207.79 fect; thence
N4Sol9'45"W, a distance of 115.10 feet to the Point of Beginning. Contains
0.632 acres more or less.

Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida, shall have all the power,
authority and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1
hereof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does
have over its present Corporate Limits, and all the laws, ordinances and
resolutions of the said City shall apply and have equal force and effect as
if all the territory had been part of the City at the time of passage of
such laws, ordinances, and resolutions.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage
by the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida.
