AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA;
MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE
PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED; INCORPORATING
SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE CO

WHEREAS, William E. Haile, the owner of the following described parcel ~:
of real property, has requested and petiti oned the City of Ocoee, Flori da, I,f)
to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and ~'_

HHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed his Petitions and Consents _::;,.
with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City f:
Charter of the City of Ocoee, and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the
City Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of
said parcel of real property no less than 10 days and not more than 60 days
from the date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an
independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby
find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is
in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed
to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; ·
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby
find and determine that said property is an unincorporated area of Orange
County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee.
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the following described parcel of real property owned by
~illiam E. Haile, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is
lncorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the City of
Ocoee, Florida:
The SW ~ of the NE ~ Less Road R/W Sec 29, Twp 22S
Rge 28E and East 100 Feet of SE ~ of SE ~ of
NW ~ of Sec 29, Twp 22S, Rge 28E Orange County, Fla.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida shall have all the power,
authority and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1
hereof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does
have over its present corporate limits, and all the laws, ordinances and
resolutions of the said City shall apply and have equal force and effect as if
all the territory had been a part of the City at the time of passage of such
laws, ordinances and resolutions.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately UDon
passage by the City Commi ss i on of the City of Ocoee, Florida., ~ .
