A PORTION OF A STREET DESCRIBED HERE -
P,1377 INAFTER AND LOCATED IN THE CITY OF }
OCOEE, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OCOEE,
LORIDA:
Section One: It is hereby determined that property hereinafter
described is located within the municipal boundaries of the City
of Ocoee, Orange County, Florida, and is a municipal street.
Section Two: That said property is no longer useful or needed
as a public street, and that it is in the public interest that
said property be abandoned, vacated and closed as a public street
and as public property, and be released from any and every public
right, use, title, and interest. The following described property
be, and the same is hereby vacated, closed and abandoned and said
property be, and the same is hereby released and discharged of any
and every public right, use, title and interest of the City of
Ocoee, Florida, said property lying and being in Orange County,
Florida, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Kentwood Street
bounded on the East by the West
right of way line of Lakewood
Avenue and on the West by the
East right of way line of Bluford
Avenue located in the SE; of the
NE34- of Section 18, Township 22
South, Range 28 East and also
described as that portion of the
unnamed street depicted in the plat
of Ruben Kegler's Subdivision according
to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book A,Page 118,Public Record of Orange
County, Florida,lying South of and adjacent
to Lots 4 and 5 of said subdivision.
Section Three: The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Ocoee,
Florida be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
such instruments as may be necessary or required to show that said
property has been absolutely and completely abandoned.
Section Four: If any section, subsection, sentence, clause,
phrase, or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held invali
or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining protion thereof.
Section Five: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage by the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida.
