Councilman Freeman made a motion to approve the payment of all bills as follows: (a) From General Fund: Frank B. Holmes, fees 5 cases w. H. Wurst, fees 5 cases . Henry's Station, street dept. Burgess Press, office supplies & Printing Bray Hdwe Co~ Water dept. - Pounds Motor'Co. Water dept. Iserman & Co. water dept. Sam Olivefl, water dept. Anthony Sholes, street dept. O. Letter read from Rev. Curry of the Chl~ch of God for permit to used amplefiers and musical instruments during their convention, Councilman Fields made a motion to issue them a permit, motion sedonded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. ..... Councilman F:i:elds made a motion that the Ci-erk "'Trite ~lr. Anderson of the A.C.L. RR Co. at Sanford that the C~ty put the crossing at West Avenue, and that the Railroad can bear the expense for removal of the communication lines at their expense, this motion vms seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried. Councilman' Freeman made a motion that the contract and agreement be accepted and signed with the Railroad bearing their date of June 29, 1955 pertaining to the crossing at West Avenue. this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried. Councilman Fields made a motion to have Edwin H. Pounds authorized to countersign checks in the event of the absence-of the ~~yor or ~~yor- Pro Tem. motion seconded by Councilman Freeman, vo~ed and car~ied. C.ouncilman Fields made a motion to buy the $10,200. bonds at .94~ plus accrued interest to date of purchase from Crummer & Co. motion was seconded by Councilman Fmunds, voted and carried. Councilman Pounds made a motion to authorize the Mayor Pro-tern and Clerk negotiate a $2,000. loan with the State Bank of Apopka until tax collec- tions come in this November to used with funds on deposit-to purchase the ~~10; 200.
