AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS
OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED;
INCORPORATING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF TIlE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Edwin H. Pounds, the owner of the following described parcel of
real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annexi
the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and ;
WHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed his Petitions and Consents with
the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter
of the City of Ocoee, and Section 171.44, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the Cit
Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of said
parcel of real property no less than 10 days and not more than 60 days from the
date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an
independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby
find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in
the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and
be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby
find and determine that said property is in an unincorporated area of Orange
County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Flori a
and is compact;

Section 1. That the following described parcel of real property owned by
Edwin H. Pounds, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is
incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee,
Florida;
Begin at the SW corner of the NW~ of SW~ of SW~ of Section 9
TWP 22 South, RGE 28 East, run thence N 00022'00" W along the
west line of said NW~SW~SW~ and the east line of Peach Lake
Manor Unit Two, as recorded in Plat Book "W", Page 142, Public
Records of Orange County, Florida, a distance of 215.77' thence
N 61016'24" E 100.00', thence N 89022'00" E 84.82', thence S
00038'00" E 264.25' to the south line of said NW~SW~sw!:f, thence
S 89049'07" W 174.04' to the point of beginning; subject to a
utilities easement over the westerly 10.00' (extending east 10.00'
perpendicular from the west line of this description and contiguous
with the north and south lines of this description), and subject to
an easement for ingress-egress and services over the northerly 25.00'
(extending to the south of and perpendicular from the two courses
called along the north boundary of this description and to be con-
tiguous with the east and west lines of this description) and subject
to restrictions and easements of record if any.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida shall have all the power,
authority, and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1
herelof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does
have over its present corporate limits, and all the laws, ordinances and
resolutions of the said City shall apply and have equal force and effect as if
all the territory had been a part of the City at the time of passage of such
laws, ordinances and resolutions.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Florida Statute Section 166.041
and 171.044, that the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida,
will at the regular meeting to be held at 7;30 P.M. 17 April 79, or
as soon as practicable thereafter, at the City Hall, City of Ocoee,
Florida, located at 150 Lakeshore Drive, consider the adoption of two
ordinances entitled:
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS
OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED;
INCORPORATING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.

CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT;
ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF SUCH
PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Copies of the proposed said ordinances may be examined at the City Hall,
City of Ocoee, Florida, between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Monday
through Friday.
All interested parties may appear at said meeting and be heard with
respect to the proposed ordinances.
