WHEREAS, Edwin H. Pounds, the owner of the following described parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annexi the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and ; WHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed his Petitions and Consents with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee, and Section 171.44, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the Cit Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of said parcel of real property no less than 10 days and not more than 60 days from the date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby find and determine that said property is in an unincorporated area of Orange County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Flori a and is compact; NOW THEREFORE, "r7i:\-Hl/"6 r\,,- - r.on r ''', J:'i '!;.,,,,-tt..Jl!""!1_ "....::d.t!:_.~~ ':..,.:...=:'1 1:"1: 04/09/9'1 1[1: -12: 22am BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: r'D! Pounds, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; Begin at the SW corner of the NW~ of SW~ of SW~ of Section 9 TWP 22 South, RGE 28 East, run thence N 00022'00" W along the west line of said NW~SW~SW~ and the east line of Peach Lake Manor Unit Two, as recorded in Plat Book "W", Page 142, Public Records of Orange County, Florida, a distance of 215.77' thence N 61016'24" E 100.00', thence N 89022'00" E 84.82', thence S 00038'00" E 264.25' to the south line of said NW~SW~sw!:f, thence S 89049'07" W 174.04' to the point of beginning; subject to a utilities easement over the westerly 10.00' (extending east 10.00' perpendicular from the west line of this description and contiguous with the north and south lines of this description), and subject to an easement for ingress-egress and services over the northerly 25.00' (extending to the south of and perpendicular from the two courses called along the north boundary of this description and to be con- tiguous with the east and west lines of this description) and subject to restrictions and easements of record if any.
