Background Summary:
Members of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board serve two-year terms. The Parks and Recreation
Advisory board currently has ten (10) members and their ordinance allows no more than thirteen (13) members.
One application was received from Dahlia Peart with an interest in serving on the board. There are no
additional applications on file.
Issue:
Should the honorable Mayor and City Commission appoint Dahlia Peart to the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board with a term ending October 201 O?
Recommendations
Staff is recommending that the City Commission appoint Dahlia Peart to the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Board with term ending October 2010.
