Public Safety has stated a desire to purchase Air-Shore equipment currently owned by the Ocoee Fire Depal1ment for the amount of $5,000. Public Safety has indicated they would use currently available grant funding to support the purchase, and that they would have budgeted for this type of equipment in the next fiscal year. As the value of the equipment purchased new on the open market would approximate $20,000, and as the Ocoee equipment has been determined to be in good operating order; it appears the proposed purchase is fiscally prudent and operationally proper. The Ocoee Board of COlllmissioners requires a notice of our intent to purchase prior to disposing of the property. If you concl\l' with the recommendation, the attached letter wi II be executed, and forwarded as noted, to support the purchase. The other attachments describe the equipment and confirm the price and condition of the equipment. Approved by: . _! // (. {Cr,. (?
