MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEEi FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY. FEBRUARY 21. 956
Present: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holland and Pounds
Absent: Councilman Holmes
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Holland at 8:15 P,M.
and the minutes of last regular meeting held February 7, 1956 were
read and approved.
Councilman Fields made a motion to approve the payment of the following
bill s :

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was
seconded by Councilman Freeman, voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion that the City Attorney to make a
check on trailer ordinances of other towns, and report what to do
about it. motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried.
Councilman Freeman made a motion for Clerk to write the auditor that
our part of the contract to audit the books is fullfilled as agreed,
and feel that he breeched his agreement, and that $200.00 is ~ounti
agr~ed on, and advise immediately if he is to finish audit, and to
Register the letter, this motion was seconded by Councilman Fields,
voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion that effective March 1st 1956 that
the courtesy of furnishing free water rent to the Churches and to the
Woman's Club will be discontinued, and that they will be metered at
their expense, this being on account of the City's growth and inadequacy
of the water system. This motion was seconded by Councilman Freeman,
voted and carried.

Councilman Fields made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 333, being an
ordinance of the City of Ocoee Florida, annexinb a certain tract of
unincorporat e d land lying cond1guous to t he municipal boundaries 0 f
the City of 000 ee and situated in Orange County, Florida). to-wit:
Lot 50 and 51, Block 3, Town of Ocoee according to the Ylat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book "An, Page 100 and 101, Public Records of Orange
County, Florida. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds. Councilmen
Fields, Freeman, Holland and Pounds voted AYE.

Councilman Fields made a motion to adopt Ordinance Ro. 334, being
an Ordinance of the City of Ocoee, Florida, annexing a certain
tract of unincorporated land lying contiguous to the municipal
boundaries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County,
Florida to-wit: Lots 35 and 36, Block 4, Town of Ocoee, according
to the Plat thereof as recorded ~n Plat book "A", pages 100 and 101,
Public Records of Orange County, FIQrida. This motion was seconded
By Councilman Pounds,. Councilman F.elds, Freeman, Holland and Pounds
voted AYE. voted and carried. ~
There being no further business, Councilman Freeman made'a motion to I
adjourn. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and
carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:45 P.M.
