MINUTES OF THE RECESSED MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
MONDAY. SEPTE~mER'24. 1956
Pre:~~~pt: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holland, and Pounds.
Absent: Councilman Holmes
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Vice-Chairman Holland at 8:15 P.M.
Councilman Fields made a motion to accept ordinance No. 341 being an
Ordinance ascer.tainipg the amount necessary to pperate the ~ity of
Ocoee, Florida, for the fiscal jear beginning November 1, 1956, and
ending October 31, 1957. Motion was seconded -by Counc ilman Pounds _
Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holland and Pounds voted AYE. no no's. V&Carril
Councilman Fields made a motion to accept ordinance No. 342, being an
Ordinance fixing the rate of taxation for the City of Ocoee, Florida
for the fiscal year beginning November l~ 1956 and ending October, 3i,
1957. Motion was seconded by Councilman ~ounds - Councilmen FieEds,
Freeman, Holland and Pounds voted AYE. no no's. voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to accept ordinance No. 343, being an
Ordinance levying a tax upon taxable property within the City of Ocoee,
Florida, for the iiie'p~l 'I~~r ge.i41nipg,.!l0:y~mberp11~-g1956 and ending

voted AYE. No No's. voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to accept ordinance No. 3441 being an
Ordinance appropriating and allocating the revenue of the C1ty of
Oco:e, Florida, for the ~~tc~l x~~r p~g~~ni~K.NQY~mberpl~D1956 and
endJ.ng October 31, 19511 ['4- e~lli18'Iltna~ FJ.~Id~~upreettt&B, Ro:t!~d and
Pounds voted AYE,. no no's. voted and carried.
Councilman Fields made a motion to accept ordinance No. 345, being an
Oddinance of the City of Ocoee Florida, prbhibiting drinking or
possession of unsealed alcoholic beverages in or on public places
within the corporate limits of the City of Ocoee. motion was seconded
by Councilman Pounds - Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holland and Pounds
voted AYE- no no's. voted and carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Freeman made a motion to
adjourn. This motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, voted and carried,
Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 9:30. P.M.
