MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD
TUESDAY. NOVEMBER 20. 1956

A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Freeman at 8:30 P.M. and
the minutes of last regular meeting held November 6, 1956 and Special
meeting of November 7, 1956 were read and approved. _
Coupcilman Pounds made a motion to pay bills as presented as follows:

A motion to pay aforesaid bills from above mentioned funds was
seconded by Councilman Marsden, voted and carried..
Councilman Fields ma de a motion to close out Utility Tax Fundi
Cigarette Tax Fund and Emergency Funds and put into the Genera
Fund account, this motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds,
voted and carried. .
Councilmanl Fields made a motion for Clerk to get necessary sheets for
water book with columns for debits, credits and balance, motion was
seconded by Councilman Marsden, voted and carried.
Councilman Fields, made a motion to contact bond holders for bonds
numbers 232, 234, 237, 241 and 242 to be called in- for payment, this
motion was seconded by Councilman ~otunds, voted and carried.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to a ccep the Audit as prepared by
Mr. Bear with Pribble Laney and Wells of Orlando, motion was seconded
by Councilman, Hollana, voted and carried.

Councilman Holland made a motion to appoint Mayor John T. Minor as
Chairman of the Fair Committee, motiorr seconded by Councilman
Marsden, voted and carried.
Councilman Holland made a motion to amend Ordinance No. 3301 section
1, to include the gas, for cooking and heating to pay the lu%
Utility Tax. This motion died for the la~k of a second.
There being no further business , Councilman Pounds made a motion to
adjourn, this motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden, voted and
carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned at 12:05 R.M.
