MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY

Present: Councilmen Fields, Freeman, Holland, Marsden and Pounds.
Absent: None
A quorum present
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Freeman at 8:15 P.M.
and the minutes of the last regular meeting of Hovember 20, 1956
were read and approved.
Councilman Fields made a motion to pay up to $900.00 as presented
and as follows:
(a) From General Fund:
Cash paid out, $4. postage and $11.20 water book
Farm and Homes Machinery Co. booster pump in full
Conrad's Garage, Police dept

Kelley and Powerl1 Cabinet for police dept

Councilman Fields made a motion not to hire any Police ar Special
Police~n without first being bonded, this motion was seconded by
Councilman Holland, voted and carried.
Application for the Clerks job from Stuart Watson was rread by
Clerk to the Council, No action was taken.
Councilman Fields made a motion to buy 25 loads of clay from the
County at jl.75 per load, Motion_ was seconded by Councilman Marsden,
voted and carried.
There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion to
adjourn, this motion was seconded by Councilman Holland, voted and
carried. Thereupon, the Council adjourned ~t 11:15 P.M.
