Absent; None The meeting was called to order by C'ouncilman Freeman at 8; 00 P. M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting, held October Ist.1957, were read and approved. A motion was made by Councilman Holland to pay the following bills. Motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden. Voted, and carried. Holland A Motion was made by Councilman^to remove Water utility tax from all churches and parsonages. The City reserves the right to resume tax if these buildings are being used for other than church purposes. This motion was seconded by ~ Councilman Marsden. Voted And carried. Motion was made by Councilman Marsden to open polls for voting on November 5th.1957 at 7;00 A. M. and close at 7;00 P. M. Election to be held in rear office of City Bldg. Seconded by Councilman Fields. Voted and carried. Motion was made by Councilman Holland that City Attorney amend section 2 of Ordinance # 124 to read as follows." To hold an elected office in the City of Ocoee, Florida, the person shall.be twenty one (21) years of age, a citi- zen of the United States, a permenant.resident living in the State of Florida for one (1) year, and of the City of Ocoee, Florida for six (6) months. This ordinance to become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, or otherwise becoming a law. This motion was seconded by Coun- cilman Pounds, and carried unanimQusly. There being no further business, Councilman Fields made a motion to recess. Seconded by Councilman Holland. Voted and carried. Thereupon Council recessed at 10;40 P. M.
