Present; Councilmen Freeman, Pounds, Fields, Holland and Marsden.
Absent; None
The meeting was called to order By Councilman Freeman at 8;00 P.M. and the
minutes of the regular meeting of November 19th.1957, were read and approved.
A motion by Councilman Fields to pay the following bills. was seconded by
Councilman Marsden. Voted and carried.

A motion was made by Councilman Fields to pay A.V. Perritte, former Police
Chief, salary for two weeks vacation which he didn't take in 1956. This
motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds. Voted and carried.
A motion was made by Councilman Fields that City clerk issue a check for
$25.00 to City Att'y Spence~ C. Cross, to enter an appeal to District Court of
Appeals, 2nd. Distr~ct.,," frorlf~JUagement entered in case of Sim Bell, et aI,
verses Florida Power and City of Ocoee. This motion was seconded by Councilman
Marsden and voted for by Councilmen Freeman, Pounds, Fields Holland and Marsden.
Carried unanimously.

At this meeting it was decided by'Council that Mayor Broadaway and Council
Chairman Freeman go to the State Bank of Apopka and arrange for a loan to
cover cost of new water system and a new Police car.
There being no further business a motion to recess was made by Councilman
Fields and seconded by Councilman Pounds. Thereupon Council recessed at
10;30 P. M.
