ORDINANCE NO.�
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY
OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DES-
CRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED; INCORPORATING
SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE
CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, David A. and Gailyn J. Simpson, the owners of the following
described parcel of real property, have requested and petitioned the City of
Ocoee, Florida, to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said
City; and
WHEREAS, said fee simple owners have filed their Petitions and Con-
sents with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the
City Charter of the City of Ocoee and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of
the City Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question fo annexation
of said parcel of real property no less than 10 days and not more than 60 days
from the date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made
an independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby
find that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in
the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and
be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does here-
by find and determine that said property is in an unincorporated area of Orange
County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee,

BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE:
Section 1. That the following described parcel of real property
owned by David A. and Gailyn J. Simpson, located in Orange County, Florida, be
and the same hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boun-
daries of the City of Ocoee, Florida;
Begin at a point on the South line of the NW4 of SW4
of SW4 of Se6tion 9, Township 22 South, Range 28 East,
174.04' N 89 49'07" E from tge Southwest corner of said
NW6 SW4 SW4, run thence N 00 MY" W 264.25', thence N
89 22'00" E 165.10', thence S 00 38'00" E 295.55' to the
South line of said NW -%4- SW4 SW4, thence S 89 49'07" W
165.10' to the point of beginning; subject to an easement
for ingress -egress and services over the Northerly 25.004
thereof and subject to restrictions and easements of record
if any.
Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida shall have all the power,
authority, and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1
hereof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does
have over its present corporate limits, and all the laws, ordinances and reso-
lutions of the said city shall apply and have equal force and effect as if all
the territory had been a part of the City at the time of passage of such laws,
ordinances and resolutions.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
passage by the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida.
