U ✓ 7 01 G i47 Rab /) A CAvtv4 CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA; MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT; DESCRIBING THE PROPERTY TO BE ANNEXED; INCORPORATING SAID PROPERTY INTO THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The Victory Baptist Church, the owner of the following described parcel of real property, has requested and petitioned the City of Ocoee, Florida, to annex the same in and to the municipal boundaries of said City; and�, J. U, _ J. i _:11 : WHEREAS, said fee simple owner has filed its petition and cons n X66 with the City Commission as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1, of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee and Section 171.044, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, a public hearing as provided by Article 1, Section 6.1 of the City Charter of the City of Ocoee was held on the question of annexation of said parcel of real property not less than 10 days and not more than 60 days from the date of the filing of such petition with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, has made an independent examination of the said property and determined, and does hereby find, that the area involved qualifies for municipal benefits and that it is in the best interests of the City of Ocoee that such area should be annexed to and be included in the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Ocoee, Florida, does hereby find and determine that said property is in an unincorporated area of Orange County and is contiguous to the municipal boundaries of the City of Ocoee, Florida, and is compact; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF OCOEE: Section 1. That the following described parcel of real property owned by The Victory Baptist Church, located in Orange County, Florida, be and the same hereby is incorporated into and made part of the municipal boundaries lof the City of Ocoee, Florida: 0 Containing four acres. Begin at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 4 of the Southwest 4 of the Southwest 4 of Section 9, Twp. 22, South, Rge. 28 East, run thence N 00 degrees 38' 00" W 20.76' to a point on the South right of way of "A. D. Mims Rd", being a point on a curve concave to the North and having a radius of 200.10', thence Easterly along the arc of said curve 108.19' thru a centeral angle of 30 degrees 58' 40" to a point of reverse curvature and the P.C. of a curve concave to the South and having a radius of 2986.00', thence from a tangent bearing of N 68 degrees 19' 20" E run Easterly along the arc of said curve 250.88' thru a central angle of 4 degrees 48' 50", thence S 00 degrees 38' 00" E 562.08' to a point 219' Northerly of the South line of NE -I, SW -1, SW -14, thence S 89 degrees 49' 07" W 344.00' to the West line of NE -I, SW -4 SW -1, thence N 00 degrees 38' 00" W 448.15' to the point of beginning. Subject to easements and restrictions of record if any. Also subject to an easement of ingress-eggress over the Westerly 15.00' thereof, and the Southerly 15.00' thereof. Section 2. That the City of Ocoee, Florida, shall have all the power, authority, and jurisdiction over and within the lands described in Section 1 hereof, and of the inhabitants thereof, and the property therein, as it does have over its present corporate limits, and all the laws, ordinances and resolutions of the said City shall apply and have equal force and effect as if all the territory had been a part of the City at the time of passage of such laws, ordinances and resolutions. Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage by the City Commission of the City of Ocoee. ENACTED THIS_ ' 76 ,DAY OF 1978.
