HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-07-1959 I ~ ..- M I ~ = -< I I MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD TUESDAY APRIL 7TH. 1959, 7 ~resent: Councilmen Freeman, Pounds, Holland, Howell & Marsden Absent: None The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8:10 P.M. and the minutes of the last regular meeting held March 17th. 1959 and the special meet ing held March 26th. 1959 were read and approved. A motion was made by Councilman Marsden that Council approve the payment of the,follo~dng bills. Motion was seconded by Councilman Howell. Voted and carri ed. Motion was seconded by Councilman Holland. Voted and carried. A motion was mnde by Councilman Howell to appoint Felton D. West as Chief of Police from the standpoint of seniority, and Mr. J. D. Scott as his assistant, at the above salaries. Motion seconded by Councilman Holland. Voted and carried. There ~eing no further business, A ffietion was made by Councilman Howell to recess this meeting until April 9th. 1959 to go into the bids for new well. Motion seconded by Councilman Holland.
