MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
TUESDAY APRIL 21ST.1959

Present; Councilmen Freeman, Pounds, Holland Marsden & Howell.
Absent: None
The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8;25 P.M.
and the minutes of the recessed meeting held April 7th. 1959, and
the adjourned meeting held April 9th.1959 wewe read and approved.
A motion was made by Councilman Holland that Council approve the
payment of the following bills. Motion seconded by Councilman Howell
Voted and carried.

A motion was made by Councilman Marsden to have Florida Power Corp.
install 20 new Street lights from the corner of Franklin St. South.
Mo~ion seconded by Councilman Howell. Voted and carried.
A Motion was made by Councilman Howell to increase the salaries of
street department employees $4.00 per week, effective at once. Motion
seconded by CouncilmanHolland. Voted and carried.
A Motion was made by Councilman Holland that The City place a 10%
utility tax on all utility gas delivered in the City limits. Motion
seconded by Councilman Pounds and voted for By Councilmen Freeman,
Pounds, Holland I'JIarsden and Howell. No no's. Carried unanimously. .
There being no further business, a motion was made by Councilman
Holland to adjourn. Notion seconded by Councilman Pounds. Voted and
carried. Thereupon Council adjourned at 10;56 P. M.
