MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNC~~
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD MAY 19TH.195~~
Present: Councilmen Freeman, Pounds, Marsden, Holland & Howell.
Absent: None
The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8;10 P.M. and
the minutes of the re~essedmeeting held May 5th. 1959, and the minutes
of special meetings of May 6th,&May 13th. were read and approved.
A motion was made by Councilman Marsden that Council approve the payment
of the following bills. Motion was seconded by Councilman Howell. Voted
and carried. '

Amotion l~as made by Councilman Howell and seconded by Councilman Marsden
that the City pay for lights used in ball park during Church soft ball games.
Voted and carried.
A Motion was made by Councilman Howell that City adopt ordinance # 392,
bang an ordinance of the City of Ocoee, Florida, regulating the constr-
uction, alteration, improvement, placement and use of buildings, struct-
ures and lands in the City of Ocoee; Providing a penalty for violation
thereof. Motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds, and voted for by
Councilman Freeman, Pounds, Howell, Holland and Marsden. No no's. Passed
unanimously.
There being no further business a motion was made by Councilman Marsden
to adjourn. Motion seconded by Councilman Pounds. Thereupon Council ad-
journed at 10;15 P. M.

Upon reading of the minutes it was noted that they should be
corrected to read by the addition thereof by adding the intention
of the city to annex the property here and after referred to.
On request of the o'~ers for the city to annex the West half of
the NW~ of NW~ of Section 16, To~mship 22 South, Range 28 East.
Councilman Howell made a motion for the City Attorney to draw
an' ordinance declaring the intention of the city to annex the
property here and abovedescribed and for the city attorney to r'
present the ordinance at the next regular council meeting on
June 2nd, 1959. Motion was seconded by Councilman Holland.
Motion carried. Voting for said Motion Councilmen Pounds, I
Marsden, Howell, & Hol1and.Carried unanimously.
On requffi t cf tre mmers for the city to anne"e the SEi of NEi
of Section 8, Township 22 South, Range 28 East. Councilman
Pounds made a motion for the City Attorney to draw an ordinance
declaring the intention of the city to annex the property here
and above described and for the City Attorney to present the
ordinance at the next regular council meeting on June 2nd, 1959.
Motion was seconded by Council Marsden. Motion carried.
Voting for said Motion Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Howell, & Holl qnd.
Carried unanimously.
