MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCI L
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE , FLORIDA HELD SEPT. 1, 1959

Present: Councilmen: Freeman, Pounds, Holland, Howell & Marsden

The meeting was called to order at 8:15 by Councilman Freeman and
the minutes of the ~astsreguaar meeting held August 18th, 1959
and the special meeting held August 25th, 1959 and the special
meeting held August 28th, 1969 were read and approved.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to adjourn the recess meeting
held August 28th, 1959. Motion was seconded by Councilman
Holland. Voted and Carried
Councilman Pounds made a motion tha~"the Council approve the
follo~rlng bills. Motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden.
Voted and Carried.

Councilman Howell made a motion for the City to trade
their Colt 45 to Deputy Sheriff Terry for his Smith &
Wesson 38. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden.
Councilmen Pounds, Marsde n, Holland, & Howell voted AYE. No no's
Carried unanimously.
Councilman Holland made a motion to raise Policeman Jesse
Carnley's pay $25.00 per mont~. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Marsden. Councilman Holland, "'Howell, Marsden and
Pounds, voted AYE No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Howell made a motion for .the policemen to gas up
the police car at 7:00 A.M. and at 5:00 P.M.. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Holland. Councilmen Pounds, Marsden,
Holland, Howell voted' AYE N0no's. Carried unanimously.

Marsden voted AYE No no's. Carried unanimously.

There being no further business Councilman Pounds to recess
this meeting. Motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden.
Thereupon Council recessed at 11:00 P.M.
