Councilman Marsden made a motion to adjourn the recess meeting held August 28th, 1959. Motion was seconded by Councilman Holland. Voted and Carried Councilman Pounds made a motion tha~"the Council approve the follo~rlng bills. Motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden. Councilmen Pounds, Marsde n, Holland, & Howell voted AYE. No no's Carried unanimously. Councilman Holland made a motion to raise Policeman Jesse Carnley's pay $25.00 per mont~. The motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden. Councilman Holland, "'Howell, Marsden and Pounds, voted AYE No no's. Carried unanimously. Councilman Howell made a motion for .the policemen to gas up the police car at 7:00 A.M. and at 5:00 P.M.. The motion was seconded by Councilman Holland. Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Holland, Howell voted' AYE N0no's. Carried unanimously.
