MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD OCTOBER 9, 1959
Present: Councilmen: Freeman, Pounds, Holland, Marsden, Howell
and Mayor Broadaway
Absent: None
The meeting was c&led to onder by Councilman Freeman at 12:54 P.M.
Councilman Pounds, made a motion to issue'~a JB ckage license for
beer and wine only to George E. Moore to be used on NE ,Corner of
Franklin Street and Highway 437. If application fs made for
liquor license the above license is revoked automatically.
COllncilman Howell seconded the motion. Councilmen Pounds,
Holland, Marsden & Howell voted AYE. No no's Carried unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to give Jesse Carnley a $10.00
raise beginning the first of October, 1959. Motion was seconded
by Councilman Howell. COlJncilmen Holland, Howell, Pounds, and
Marsden voted AYE. No no's. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Councilman Marsden made a motion
to recess this meeting. Councilman Holland seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council recessed at 1:35 P.M.

MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD OCTOBER 19, 1959
CONSERNING THE WATER SYSTEM.
Present:
Councilmen Freeman, Holland, Marsden, & Howell
and Mayor Broadaway
Absent:
Councilman Pounds,
Meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 10:10 A.M.
At this time the Council discussed the Water System with the
Builders of Peach Lake Manor and Ocoee Hills. This discussion
was tabled until our regular meeting Tuesday night October 20, 1959.
A ~otion was made Councilman Holland to grant the Ocoee Music
Department penmission to have a tag day in Ocoee on Saturday
November 7th, 1959. Motion was seconded by Councilman Marsden.
Councilman Marsden, Howell, & Holland voted AYE. No no's,
Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Councilman Howell made a motion
to adjourn this meeting. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council adjourned at 11;$0 A.M.
