MINUTES OF THE REGULAR r~ETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA, HELD NOV. 19,1959
Present: Councilmen: Freeman, Pounds, Howell, Marsde9, Laird
and r-1ayor Minor
Absent: None
The meeting was called to order by Councjlman Freeman at 8:20.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held Nov. J, 1959, the
special meeting held Nov. 3, 1959, the special meeting held Nov. 5, 1959
and the special meeting held Nov. 9, 1959 were read and approved.
Councilman' Laird made a motion to adjourn the recessed meeting
held Nov. 9, 1959. Councilman Pounds seconded the motion. Voted
and carried.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to make Councilman Pounds Vice-
Chairman of the Council. Councilman Laird ~econded the motion.
Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Laird, & Howell voted AYE. No no's.
carried unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to pay the following bills. Council-
man Howell seconded the motion. Voted and carried.

Councilman Pounds made a motion to pay City Attorney, Spencer
Cross $500.00.on his account. Councilman Marsden seconded the
motion. Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Laird, & HRwel1 voted AYE.
No no's. Carried unanimously.

Councilman Howell made a motion for the City to loan Jesse Carnley
money to have his phone ~nstalled and let him pay it back out of the
next two checks. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Councilman
Pounds, Marsden, Laird, & Howell voted AYE. No no's, Carried unanimously.
~here~being no further business Councilma~r~as~l~ motion to recess
this meeting. Councilman Laird seconded the motion. Thereupon
Council recessed at 10:40 P.M.
