MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE (C;ITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD JAN. 5, (1960
Present: Councilmen; Freeman, Pounds, Marsden, :& Howell .
Mayor Minor
Absent: Councilman laird
The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8:10 P.M.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held December 15, 1959 were
read and approved. .
Councilman Marsden made a motion to adjourn the recessed mepting held
December 15, 1959. Councilman Howell seconded the motion. Voted and
carried.
Councilman Howell made a motion that 90uncil approve the following
bills. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Voted and carried.

Councilman Howell made a motion to accept the Bluepring of Lewis Sales C
Corporation for a home to be built in Lakeview 3rd Addition Lot 7
Block D. Motion was seconded by Councilman Pounds. Councilmen
Pounds, Howell, Marsden voted AYE. No no's Carried unanimously.

Councilman Marsden made a motion to accept the Replat of Lakewood
Hills, Ocoee, Orange County, Florida; Description as follows:

"W", Page 7 of the Public R cords of Orange Co~nty, Florida,

Howell seconded the,Motion. Councilman Pounds, Howell & M~rsden
voted AYE. No no's, Carried unanimously.
,Counciman Marsden made a motion to accept the Plat of Lake Moxie
Shores, Orange County, Florida. Discription as follows:
The North Three Quarters of the SouthEast Quarter of the
SouthWest Quarter of Section 8, Towship 22, South, Range
28 East. Less the East 224 Feet and Less the West 448 feet. 1
Subject to the North 10 feet for easement. Bouncilman Howell
seconded the motion. Councilmen H01'lell, Marsden,.?i Pounds
voted AYE. No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to accept LawrenGe H. Rhillips
as policemen for Ocoee, on the Mayor's reccomendation. Council-
man Howell seconded the motion. Councilmen Howell, Pounds, &
Marsden veted' AYE"r'~'No,::'t16,fs. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Councilman Marsden made a motion
to recess this meeting. Councilman Howell seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council recessed at 12:05 A.M.

The me~ting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 12:)0 P.N.

Mr. Yandre, of Farm Home and Machinery was Aere to discuss the
well drilJed by Farm Home & Machinery for the City of Ocoee. After
the di~cussion he agreed to come back on Tuesday night January
19, 1960 to our regular meeting,and bring the-information wantedd
by the City Council conserning the well..
The City Council asked the Clerk to, write George H. Vandergrift
a letter dismissing htm as Fire Chief.
There being no further business Councilman Howell made a moti0n
to adjourn tbeadjourn the meeting.. Councilman Marsden secGnded
the motion. Thereupon Council adjourned at 1:10 P.M.
