The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8:15 p.rI.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held June 7, 1960, the special
meetin~ held June 13, 1960 and the special meeting held June 16,
1960 were read and approved.
Councilman Howell made a motion to adjourn the recessed meeting
held June 16, 1960. Councilman Pounds seconded the motirn.
Voted and Carried~
Councilman N8rsden made a motion that Council approve the follow-
ing bills. Councilman Pounds seconded the motion. Voted and
carried.

Councilman Pounds made a motion to return the proposed
agreement 1Jet'l":een the City of Ocoee and the Atlantic
Coast Line Railroad Company unsigned. Councilman Marsden
seconded the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Howell, Laird
and Marsden voted AYE. No no's. Ca.rried unanimously.
Councilman Howell made a motion to have our attorney
Spencer Cross draw up an ordinance that each family
nmst have a garhage can. Councilman Pounds seconded
the noticn. Councilmen Pounds, Howell, Laird ~nd Marsden
voted AYE. No no's, Carried unanimously.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to raise the Cll..:;rk' S
salary $25.00 per month. Councilman Howell seconded
the motion. Councilmen Howell, Pounds, Marsden, and
Laird voted AYE. No no's. Cnrried unanimously.

A Committee of Councilmen Pounds, Em-vell and Marsden was
appointed to check on build~ng a jail and decide ~mether it
is feasible to move the barn.
Councilman Laird made a motion to have our attorney Spencer
C. Cross find out the legal discription and owner of the East
p"'rt of Lot 15, Block 2, Tm.m of Ocoee Corner of Oakland
Avenue and Lake Shore Drive. Councilman EO'i'rell seconded the
motion. Councilmen Hovrel1, Laird, ;'12rsden and Pounds voted
AYE. No no's. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Councilman Pounds made a motion 1
to recess this ~eeting. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. .
Thereupon Council recesse~ at 11:00 P.M.

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 12:10 PM
Councilme.n r.larsden made a motion to !::ive T;Iid-State Hauling Co.
permission to. build a radio tower if it meets the ap~roval of
the F.C.C. and providing it is put on their prope~ty and not
on City property. Councilman Howell seconded the motion.
Councilmen Howell, Pounds, Laird, and Marsden voted AYE. No
no's. Carried unanimously.

State Hauling. Co. permission to build a fence on his ,property
for his horse.prov~ding the adjoining property o~mers do not
object and he. complies with Ordinance ~52. Councilman Marsden
seconded the motion. Councilmen HO'ltlell, Harsden, Laird and.
Pounds voted AYE. No no's. Carried unanimouslu.
There being no further business Councilman Pounds made a motion
to recess this meeting. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion.
Thereupon Council recessed at 12: 30 P.IIT.
