M I ~ = < I I 111 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD DECEMBER 6, 1960 Present:, Councilmen: Freeman, Howell, Laird, Marsden and Reid Mayor Minor Absent: None The meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8:00 P.M. The minutes of the regular meeting held November 15, 1960 and the Special meeting held November 23, 1960 were read and apDroved. Councilman Laird made a motion to adjourn the recessed meeting of Novmmber 23, 1966. ;,':'Councilman Reid seconded the motion. Voted and carried unanimously. Councilman Laird made a motion that Council approve the following bills. Councilman Howell seconded the motion. Voted and Carried. (A) From GENERAL FUND: J. B. Council- man Howell seconded themotion. Councilmen Howell, Laird, Reid and Marsden boted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. This Ordinance to become effective January 3, 1961. Councilman Reid made a motion to have 2 hour parking on McKey Street from Bluford Avenue to Cumberland Avenue, one hour parking from 6umberland Avenue to Kissimmee Ave~ue and No Parking on Cumberland Avanuefrom Floral Street to Oakland Avenue. Councilman Laird seconded the motion. Councilmen Howell, Laird, Marsden and Reid voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. 112 Councilman Reid made a motion to change the speed limit on Kissimmee Avenue from 25 Miles per hour to 35 Miles per hour. Councilman Laird seconded the motion. Councilmen Howell, Laird, Marsden and Reid voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. Councilman Laird made a motion to adopt Ordinance #406 being an Ordinance of the City of Ocoee, Orange County, Florida Pro- hibiting the custodian of a pinball machine from allowing any minor under 17 yeDrs of age to play, use or operate any such pinball machine: providing penalty for the violation thereof. I Councilman Howell seconded the motion. Councilmen Howell, Reid, Laird and Marsden voted YES.. No no's. Carried unanimously. There being no further business Councilman Laird made a motion to recess this meeting. ~ouncilman Reid seconded the motion. Thereupon Council recessed at 10:10 P.M. Present: Councilmen: Freeman, Howell, Laird, Reid, & Marsden Mayor: Minor Absent: None Meeting was called to order by Councilman Freeman at 5:05 P.M. Councilman Marsden made a motion to write the following people a letter exrlaining our finanicial problems; Winter Garden Lumber Compapy~ Davis Meter & Supply Co.,Inc., Johns-Manville, and Hughes Supply. Councilman Reid seconded the motion. Council- men Howell, Reid, Marsden and Laird voted YES. No no's.
