The meeting \~as called to order by Councilman Freeman at 8:00 P.M.
The mlnutes'of the regular meeting held Jan~ary 17, 1961 were read
and approved.
Councilman Laird made a motion to adjourn the recessed meeting of
January 17, 1961. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Voted
and carried unanimously.
Councilman Howell made a motion that Council approve the following
bills. Councilman Marsden seoonded the motion. Voted and carried
unanimou-sly. .

Councilman Marsden made a motion to engage the services of ' the
Orange County Health Department for 1 year at $25.00 per month.
Councilman Laird seconded the motion. Coundilman Howell, Marsden,
Reilld and Laird vot~d YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. "
Councilman Laird rm de a T1otion to adopt OrdinCl nce # 410 being an
ordinance of the City~of Ocoee, Florida, ~king it unlawful for
any person to have or permit to remAin upon his property at any
tim~ after sixty (60 ) days fro~ the effective date of thi~
ordinAnce, any privy, 3nd providing for a penalty for the gio-
lation of this ordinonce. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion.

Councilman Reid made 3 motion to buy the necessary equipment to
set up the Police Department. Councilman Marsden seconded the
motion. Councilmen Ho'welJ., MC1rsd'en, Reid and' Laird voted~~YES. I

Councilman r1arsden made a motion to table the discussion of
pcrmltting a church on Mrs. Claudia Reeves property on the
corner of Ohio St. and Bluford Avenue. Councilmen Reid seconded
the botion. Councilmen Howell, Marsden, Reid & Laird voted
YES.- No no's. Carried uncmimously.
Ther'e being no further business Councilman Marsden made a motion

. CONTI NUTATION OF THE MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1961
Councilman Howell, made a motion, that the City adopt. Ordinance #409-B
being an ordinance of the City of Ocoee, Florida, annexing a certain
tract of unincorporated land lying contiguous to the Municipal bound-
aries of the City of Ocoee and situated in Orange County, Florida

That portion of the W~~ of the SW~ of Section 9, Township 22
South, Range 28 East lying North of. Wurst Road and the Atlantic
Coast Line Railroad.

Councilman Laird, seconded the motion. Councilmen Howell, Laird,
