MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
JANUARY 2, 1962
Present: Councilmen; Reid, Freeman, Marsden, Wilson and Dodge

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Reid at 8:00 P.H.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held 19, 1961 and the
special meetinp held December 28, 1961 were read and apnroved.

Councilman Marsden made a motion that the Council
follo':ling Bills. Councilmmn Freeman seconded the

Dodge voted NO. Motion was carried.

Councilman Marsden made a motion, due to the circimstances and the
objection of the people, to revoke the permit given to Councilman
Wilson to build his Funeral Home on Lots 3.4., & 5 Block A, LakeFidge I
Plat. Councilman Freeman seconded the motion. Councilmen Freeman,
Marsden and Reid voted YES. Councilmen Wilson and Dodge voted NO.
Motion was carried.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to secure bids for the City's Ins-
urance and the bids must be turned in by 5:Q~ P.M. January 8, 1962.
Councilman Freeman seconded the motion. Councilmen Freeman, Marsden,
Wilson and Dodge voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.

Councilman Freeman made a motion to get a~bid as the insurance policies
are now and also a bid with the liability~200/300,OOO.OO and the
property damage $50,000.00. Councilman MArsden sedonded the motion.
Councilmen Marsden,.Freeman, Wilson. and Dodge voted YES. No no's.
Carried unanimously.
Councilman Matsden made a motion to purchase 840 feet of 6 inch pipe
and 800 feet of 4 inch pipe from Hughes Supply, Inc. Councilman
Vlilson se'tonded the. motion. Councilmen Massden, Wilson, Freeman
and Dodge voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.

Councilman Marsden made a motion to retire. Bonds Nos. 27, 28, and
29 at $1,000.00 each. Councilman Dodge seconded the motion.
Councilmen Freeman,. Marsden, Wilson and Dodge voted YES. No no's.
Carried unanimously.
Councilman Freeman made a motion to secure ,8 Safety Deposit Eox at
the Bank of West Orange. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion.
Councilmen Marsden,.Freeman, Wilson and Dodge voted YES. No no's.
Carried unanimously.
Councilman Freeman made a motion to renew the maintenenee Contract
on the Adding Machine and Typewriter with A. & R. Office Machines.
Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Councilmen Marsden, Freeman,
Dodge and Wilson voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion that. the City pay the consern that
the concentrate was-purchased from for the Political Rally. C6uncil-
man Wilson Eeconded.the motion. Councilmen Freeman, Marsden, Wilson
and Dodge voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.

There being no further business Councilman Marsden made a motion to
recess this meeting. Coupcilman Freeman seconded the motion. There-
upon Council recessed at 9:45 P.M.
