MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCI~ OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
APRIL 3., 1962

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Ren at 8:15 P.M.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held March 6, 1962 were
read and approved.
Councilman Marsden made a motion that council approve the following
bills. Councilman Wilson seconded the motion. Councilmen Marsden,
Wilson and Dodge voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.

Councilman Doqge made a motion to write Mr. William Pease and ask
him to move the fence off the street right-of-way on South Lakewood
Avenue. Councilman Wilson secon ded the motion. Councilmen Wilson,
Dodge and Marsden voted YES' No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Wilson made a motion to recall the license 'plates on
the two jeeps driven by Councilman Jack Marsden and Delma'Fields.
Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Councilmen Dodge and Wilson
voted YES. Councilman Marsden voted NO. Motion was carried.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to buy a $10.00 add from the Elks
for the Harry Anna Crippled Childrens Home. Councilman Wilson
seconded the motion. Councilmen Marsden, Wilson and Dodge voted
YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Dodge made a motion to pay the remainder of $40.00 for
dues in the Florida League of Municipalities. Councilman Wilson
seconded the motion. Councilmen Wilson, Dodge and Marsdenvvoted
YES No no's. Carried unanimously.
~ouncilman Marsden made a motion that anyone wanting dirt should
come and pay for the dirt in advance at City Hall and City Clerk
will issue an order for the dirt to the Street supertindent.
Councilman Freeman seconded the motion. Councilmen Freeman, Marsden,
and Reid voted YES. Councilmen Dodg~ and Wilson voted No. Motion
was carried.

Councilman Freeman made a motion to donate 3 loads of dirt to the
Starke Lake Baptist Church. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion.
Councilman Freeman, Marsden, Dodge and Wilson voted YES. No no's.
Carried unanimously.
Councilman Freeman made a' motion to get three bids on an electric
typewriter. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Councilmen
Freeman, Marsden, Wilson and Dodge voted YES. No no'i. Carried
unanimously.
Councilman Dodge made a motion-to ask Mr. Darrell Watson to move fruit 1
trees of the right-of-way on Kentwood Street. Councilman Wilson
seconded the motion. Councilmen Dodge, Wilson, Freeman and Marsden
voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Freeman made a motion to give Mrs. H. M. McCloskey
permission to move a house on herlproperty. Councilman Marsden
seconded the motion. Councilmen Freeman, Marsden, Wilson and Dodge
voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to pay the telephone bill for the
flire siren out of the Emergency Fuhd. Councilman Freeman seconded
the motion. Councilmen Freeman, Marseen, Wilson and Dodge voted
YES. No no's. Carried unanimously.
There being no further business Councilman Marsden made a motion to
adjourn'.,this meeting. Councilman Wilson seconded the motion. There-
upon Council adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
