The minutes of the last regular meeting held November 20, 1962 were read and approved. Councilman Pounds made a met ion that Council approve the following bills. Councilman Pounds seconded the :metion. Ceuncilmen Freeman, P9unds, Hazellief and Marsden voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. , Councilman Freeman made a motien to accept Otis Phelps bid of $1,000.00 to pave the ~ortien of Taylor Street between Franklin Street and the SlIver Star Road~ and take the money out of the Int. & Sinking Fund to pay for the paving until the property owners pay their share. Councilman Pounds secqnded th~ motion. Councilmen Freeman, Ppunds, Marsden and Hazelllef voted l'ES. No. no's. :-:.::l1"1";-,1 unanimnll~l'V Councilman Pounds made a motion to write Richey Green, State Road Department asking for a truck down Kissimmee Avenue to Geneva Street. Councilman Hazellief seoonded the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Freeman, Marsden and Hazellief voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. Councilman Pounds made a motion to appoint ~fuyor Howell in charge of getting all Christmas lights put up. Councilman Hazellief seconded motion. Councilmen Pounds, Hazellief, Marsden and Freeman voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. the Councilman Pounds made a motion to ~ppoint Councilman Freeman in charge of a float for the City in The Christmas Parade. Councilman Hazellief seconded the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Freeman and Hazellief voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. Councilman Hazellief made a motion to donate $25.00 to the Ocoee High School Bank. Councilman Freeman seconded the motion. Councilmen Hazel1ief, Freeman, Marsden and Pounds voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. Councilman Pounds made a motion to authorize the Florida Power Corp. to erect a street light 4000 lumen, on Seventh Avenue. Councilman Marsden seconded the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Marsden, Freeman, and Hazellief voted YES. No no's. Carried unanimously. There being no further business Councilman Freeman made a motion to adjourn this meeting.
