MINUTES OF THE REGUL~R MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
JUNE 16, 1964

The meeting was called to order by Councilman Reid at $:10 P.M.
The mintes of the last regular meeting held June 2, 1964 and the
special meering held June 9, 1964 were read and approved.
Councilman ~'Iarsden made a motion that Council approve the following
bills. Councilman Miller seconded the motion. Voted and carried.

Councilman Pounds made a motion to write the Sater Road Department I
and ask what type of traffic light they reccommerid at the
intersection of the following locations: Silver Star Road
and State Road 43$, McRey Street and State Road 43$ and State
Road 43$ and Highway 50 at Minorville. Councilman Marsden seconded
the motion. Councilmen Marsden, Pounds, Miller and Bracewell
voted YES. NO NO~S. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Miller made a motion to reimburse George Horton
for articles picked up at his house for garbage by mistake.
Councilman Pounds seconded the. motion. Councilmen Marsden,
Pounds, miller and Bracewell voted YES. No NO'S. Carried
unanimously.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to let Councilman ~liller look
into the possibility of having the old lawn mower fixed or
getting bids for a new one. Councilman Marsden seconded the
motion. Councilman Marsden, Pounds, Miller and Bracewell
voted YES. No NO'S. Carroed unanimously.
Councilman Marsden made a motion to give ?f~yor Raymond G. Howell
permission to use his own descretion in hiring another policeman
to work during the regular policemen's vacations. Councilmen
Marsden, Pounds, and Miller voted YES. Councilman Bracewell
refrained from voting. Motion was carried.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to hire an extra man to work
on the garbage truck during the summer months to rotate with
the ones on the tnuck. Councilmen Marsden, Pounds and Ydller
voted YES. Councilmen Bracewell refrained from voting.
Motion was carried.

There being no further business Councilman Bracewell made a
motion to' adjourn this meeting. Councilman Pounds seconded
the motion. Thereupon Council adjourned at 10:20 P.M.
