MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OCOEE, FLORIDA HELD
FEBRUARY 16, 1965
Present: Councilwoman Hager, Councilmen Pounds, Patterson
Mayor Howell Miller & I3racel,vell

The meeting was called to order by Councilwoman Hager at 8:10 P.M.
The minutes of the last regular meeting held February 2, 1965 were
read and approved.

Councilman Pounds made a motion that Council approve the follow~
ing bills, in the amount of $2,584.71. Councilman Miller seoonded
the motion. Voted and carried.

Councilman Miller made a motion to purchase a new addressograph
machine, with dater, 1500 stencils and $ trays in the amount'
of $33$.25, payable in 3 payments. Councilman Pounds seconded
the motion. Councilmen Pounds, Patterson, Miller and Bracewell
voted YES. No NOIS. Carried unanimously.
Councilman Pounds made a motion to donate $250.00 each to the
Ocoee Little League Assoc., Ocoee Band Association and the
Ocoee Athletic ~ssociation. Councilman Miller seconded the
motion. Councilmen Patterson, Pounds, Miller and Bracewell
voted YES. No NOIS. Carried unanimously.
~rr. Earl Murray appeared before the Council in regard to the
paving assessment against the.property he purchased from Mr.
Cliff Freeman. Mr. Murray was to contact Mr. Freeman before
next meeting and determine who was responsible for the assess-
ment.

Leroy Turner and Fred Daughtry were to be notified to be present
at the next regular council meeting to discuss with the council
the duties of the Police Reserve.
Councilmen Patterson and Miller were appointed to take care of
letting two men help with the fair exhibit.
Councilman Miller rr.ade a motion to buy a $10.00 add for the Elks
Charity Ball. Councilman Pounds seconded the motion. Council-
men Pounds, Patterson, Miller and Bracewell voted YES. No NOIS.
Carried unanimously.
Mayor Raymond Howell was appointed to have the new part of the
Cemetery surveyed and marked off in plots.

him to be present at the next regular meeting.
There being no further business Councilman Pounds made a motion
to adjourn this meeting. Councilman Patterson seconded the
motion. Thereupon Council adjourned at 10:40 P.M.
